Our Team

Trent Millsteed | CPA GAICD

trent@baysidecapital.au 0431 320 552

Trent brings nearly two decades of experience across commercial banking, capital structuring, and complex financing solutions. Prior to co-founding Bayside Capital, he held roles at NAB, Commonwealth Bank, and Judo Bank, working across corporate and institutional banking, project finance, leveraged finance, and broader business banking—advising clients from SMEs and family offices through to ASX-listed entities and large corporates.

Trent holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA). He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course (GAICD) and is actively involved in governance and community initiatives. He currently holds board roles with Creative Geelong and Social Enterprise Group, supporting organisations that contribute to cultural, social and economic outcomes across the region.

Born and raised in Regional Victoria, with a career spanning Geelong, Melbourne, and Sydney, Trent has a deep appreciation for both regional business realities and institutional capital markets. His focus has always been on disciplined structuring, rigorous risk management, and long-term capital outcomes.

Outside of work, Trent is a husband and father of two, and by his own admission a long-suffering supporter of the Essendon Bombers. His connection to Regional Victoria and community remains central to both his personal life and professional focus.

Mitch Alldis

mitch@baysidecapital.au 0403 686 386

With over 17 years of experience across commercial and personal lending, foreign exchange, and interest rate advisory, Mitch brings a rare depth of financial expertise to every client relationship. His background spans the full breadth of the industry from supporting trading businesses and property developers to guiding investors and everyday borrowers through complex financial decisions.

Mitch has built his career on delivering sharp, strategic advice that cuts through complexity and drives real outcomes. Whether navigating volatile markets, structuring commercial deals, or helping clients make sense of their options, he combines technical know-how with the kind of clear, honest guidance that clients keep coming back for.

An experienced leader as much as an advisor, Mitch understands that great financial outcomes start with truly understanding the people behind them. Whatever your goals, he has the experience and the network to help you get there.

Geelong born and bred, Mitch spends any free time chasing his three kids around and makes the most of every opportunity to sneak to the footy to cheer on the Cats at GMHBA stadium.
